MikroTik RouterOS™ V2.9 HotSpot Solution enables user authentication and accounting in public or private, wired or wireless networks. Typical applications include wireless access in airports, hotels and other public places, as well as authenticated access to network resources in universities and schools.

HotSpot can be used with:

  • MikroTik's™ AP implementation
  • A standalone AP connected by Ethernet
  • Regular Ethernet clients

HotSpot features include:

  • DHCP server for assigning IP addresses
  • HotSpot Welcome/Login Page
  • Authentication and accounting locally, or using any RADIUS server
  • Accounting by traffic, time
  • Special MikroTik user manager
